OW-EE

Ow-EE

3 of the 4 boys in my life have a big "Ow-EE" on their finger. I thought it was a big coincidence that this would all happen at the same time, so I decided to share our experiences the past few days.

First Incidence:
I always hide my razor. My kids know its not a toy. I have told them over and over. Do you think it matters that I have told them countless times? YES, in Hewitt's case. He listens to everything I tell him for the most part and he is easy to scare when it comes to dangerous things. NO, in Linford's case. He is very mischievous and MUST find out for himself "just" how dangerous it is.
He is like this with EVERYTHING.
He saw me hide my razor one day I guess because when I wasn't looking, he carried a stool from the kitchen all the way upstairs and climbed onto the counter and into my cabinet and got my BRAND NEW RAZOR out. He cut his thumb up pretty bad.
He has never bled before. So he couldn't figure out WHY this red stuff kept pouring out of his finger. He'd wipe it and it would show up again. Very annoyed with it all, he came and showed me his frustration with a questioned look on his face.
When I saw ALL the blood, and the HUGE cut, I tried to act like it was no big deal....for Hewitt's sake.
Linford could have cared less.

2nd incidence:
Brandon has had this sore on his finger that he cannot get to go away. IT keeps getting bigger and bigger and it hurts him too. He finally found a concoction to get it to go away. NO, he didn't get into my razors or cut it with the scissors. His story isn't as exciting as the other ones. BUT the sore is supposed to turn black, so that might be interesting...

3d Incidence:
Hewitt wanted to be a big boy and open the sealed pringles all by himself. He's a pretty cautious little boy and generally pretty safe. WELL, today he came up to me screaming. "BLOOD mommy, BLOOD mommy!!!" Histarically SCREAMING. His finger was cut. I asked him what he was doing and I couldn't understand a thing he was saying. I came downstairs to see a chair moved up to my "CUTCO" knives and a big knife on the floor next to the pringles. I bandaged it up and gave him a good talking to.

The 3 of them

That is hilarious. I wonder if you would have three boys under age four right now if you had had Linford first...
