June Bugs

June in El Paso

We were at the park.

An ice cream truck came.

(We NEVER buy the over-priced ice cream from the creepy man)

-BUT-

We did this day

My kids were in

The boys little friend Isaiah and his mom (my friend) Sara invited us to the pool.

This isn't the regular pool we go to every single day (insert boring face).

This was a pool on the military base.

I had to get a pass to get on base, and then we are good for 7 days!

We have been twice with them, and we have had so much fun!

There were slides and all sorts of toys that sprayed water.

The kids had a blast.

Really made me realize just how big he is.

Lots and Lots

This past week was a busy one for us...
Well....
Busy for us out here in El Paso.
Usually we go swimming twice a day,
with occasional visits to the store and to the park,
and that is about it.
-BUT-
This past week

a "wife and kids" of one of the guys here
came out to visit for a few days.
It was nice to see some new faces,

and for the kids to have some fun friends to play with.


We went out to lunch with these little people
and are they not the cutest kids ever?

Harper and Brooklyn are so cute together.
This is my friend Taryn's little gal and they get along so well.

We went to this awesome park yesterday.
It had little sprayers that the kids could go push a button and cool off.

I was able to go out with the girls last night to a movie...

Time with Dad

Time with Daddy is very limited these days so when we get it, we RUN with it!
I try to wrestle and play ball
but its just not the same.
Today was a day we had with Dad and it was AWESOME.
I had to laugh because Linford said,
"Mommy....I wanna Wesso"
(I wanna wrestle)
I said, "you do? Okay, C'mon"
and as I got up to go wrestle with him he had his eye brows all furled and he said,
"no Mommy, not wif you, I wanna wesso wif Daddy"
It melted my heart.
Thank Heavens Daddy was home, and they wrestled till bed time.

El Paso Friends and Routines

Everyday we go swimming with these little friends.
I am so glad my kids have them to play with and that I have their mom's to hang out with. They are military families that live here at our complex with us.

Everyday,
Multiple times a day,
we go outside and eat popsicles and dry off after swimming
or just soak up the sun
or wait for Daddy to come home....
I know I already posted pictures of these little dudes eating popsicles
but it such a big part of our day and they look so dang cute,
I had to put more up...

Presents...Park & New Friends...Harpers Firsts...

Brandon's sister Tomie is one of my kids favorite aunts.
She is very fun and my kids have always loved her and her kids as well.
She recently sent us a package in the mail.
When we opened it the boys found a Transformers AND Spiderman
Plate- Cup- Bowl- set.
If I didn't know better I would have thought it was Christmas.
They were so excited.
She also sent this cute hat that Harper is wearing.
Tomie is always so generous, THANK YOU TOMIE! We Love You!

My kids have made quite a few friends out here in El Paso. These kiddos are some of our favorite so far. They are also from Provo and randomly happen to live in our same apartment complex! They have one more little girl who Hewitt loves, but she isn't in any of these pictures. The added bonus is they are also LDS and in our ward so the kids also get to see someone a little more familiar in primary and nursery on Sundays.

He is so much fun, I cannot get enough of him these days.

its really cute though.

He loves to swim, he is also a dare-devil
and I don't really like that too much.
I have to keep an extra close eye on him at ALL times.
He also will go to anyone.
He is not shy at ALL.
Hmmm, I wonder where he gets that from???

Mothers Day

Today was a good day.
The first thing I heard this morning was,
"Happy Mower's Day!!!"
from my little 2 year old Linford.
What a great start to my day.
I love being a mom and sometimes I get a little overwhelmed with all the amazing emotions and feelings that come with my wonderful duty here on earth.
My kids are amazing.
I can't describe the feelings I feel for them.
How can life ever go wrong when you have what I have?
I can't forget my Husband either.
I feel like I am who I am because of my amazing husband.
He is incredible and I am so glad we have such an amazing relationship.
I have been thinking that so much lately.
I am just so thankful for him and for my handsome boys.
I love being a mom and I wouldn't trade it for anything.

I really don't think so.
The only thing that I really think could help this be any better is to have more.
Call me crazy
but I ABSOLUTELY LOVE
being a mommy to these three little guys.

Well we have an OBSESSED little boy

Its alot of fun

-MINUS-

• The temper tantrums and complete melt downs when he can't wear a basket ball jersey (sometimes a football jersey will do...on a good day)and basket ball shorts to church or.... EVERY single day for that matter
  

• or when I try to make him wear some thing else for another occasion, like say bed time, or swimming...

• or when he cries and cries because we have to leave the basket ball court...

• or when my husband leaves to play church ball at 8:30pm (Linford's bedtime) and he runs upstairs to change his jammies (that I JUST barley took an hour or more to convince him to change into) and puts on a basket ball uniform JUST like Daddy so he can go play too....

• or when the whole family is going swimming and he says to me, "no mommy, I don wanna go whimming today....I jus wanna stay an play baket-ball"...(in his words)
  

We love this little dude.
I love the age he is at and that he has such a passion for a sport.
Atleast its Basketball
and not xbox, tv or computer games
(no offense to anyone)
I really do think his little obsession is funny, and quite impressive.

Linford is definitely a natural.
I love that he never gives up.
If he misses a shot- he doesn't get discouraged, he just shoots again and again till he makes it.
He is dribbling and shooting all over the place.

We had to leave our HOOP back in utah so we bought him a new one out here.
Its kind of hard to really capture is excellence
but here are some good shots.
I'll keep trying to get some more of his amazing moments.

Remember he is just 2 years old.
